2005 (March 23): Bush, Martin, Fox meet in Texas, ratify the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP)

2005 (October):The first North American Forum: government and business reps discuss issues related to continental economic and social integration. Held at a secret location in Sonoma, California.

2006 (September): The NA Forum meets in secret in Banff Alberta to discuss "demographic and social dimensions of NA integration"

2007: SPP Canadian ministers (Maxime Bernier, David Emerson, Stockwell Day), and their US counterparts, meet with the NACC (see 2006) to discuss the progress of NAU integration.

Planned third summit of the SPP June/07 in Montebello, Quebec. Harper, Bush, Calderon. Likely with a bit of media coverage for 'damage control'.
