WHAT IS NEOCONSERVATISM?

Neoconservatism is presented as a set of 'principles', a logical set of interacting propositions, or even as a 'philosophy'. Neoconservatism is actually a set of assumptions about what human beings are like; how we interact socially and economically. A primary neoconservative premise seems to be that business leaders know best, so we should look to them and their advisors for advice and direction.
