NO WORKABLE ECONOMIC THEORY
The central problem of our time is
that- after hundreds of years- we still do not have a workable economic
theory!!! There are three primary subsystems to our economic system; each
requiring a different method of funding:
1. The private (for-profit)
sector [funding Projects through private sector
banks]
2. The public (not-for-profit) sector
[funding Projects via the public sector
National bank]
3. The environment [enforced
funding Protection protocol through private/public partnerships]
Our
major error as a society has been to allow the private sector to act
as if it were the ONLY economy, overriding the needs of the other
subsystems- with disasterous results!
These main subsystems act in relation to each other. We must
ensure that each functions according to its needs, so that the whole may
function as a healthy, vibrant economy (private-public-global).
Each
subsystem has its own aims, goals, ideology! We see this reflected in
different political parties. But because of a lack of a coherent economic
theory combining each relative to each other, Parties are in conflict,
some having ideologies reflecting the interests of the private sector
(Liberals, Conservatives), some the public sector (NDP), and some the
environment (Green).
This outline and the funding methods
presented above may seem simplistic, but our National bank has been used
before in this manner, without in the least causing inflation! In
any event, alternatives ought to be seriously considered, for all need to
bind in a coherent economic whole- otherwise, we continue to court
catastrophe!

THE
NEW WORLD ORDER: |
There has always been a social struggle (government) over equitable distribution between those who have more than enough and those who have much less than enough. Clearly, The New World Order favours the former, and so our elected non-representatives talk the talk of 'freedom and democracy' while walking the walk as follows:
Governments:
The Permanent
government = BIG BUSINESS Profits without borders
Provisional
governments = Duly elected to serve Big Business needs
MEDIA
Information Control = To speak Big Business ideology
MILITARISM:
= To protect Big Business interests
versus:
Citizens:
No Representation =
growing poverty, crime
Social (Public) Programs gutted = Declining
health care, education, welfare
ENVIRONMENT Abandoned = Deteriorating
global life support
Our elections have become a shameless sham, a hollow Orwellian rhetoric about 'liberty' and 'truth', a betrayal of citizen trust. Citizens need environmental caretaking policies, universal health care, tuition-free education, affordable housing, and social protection programs. Today, citizens are pitted against their very own governments in the New World Order.
ONE CAN ENVISION
a happy, prosperous nation, rich in
resources from coast to coast. A responsible nation, devoted to
environmental and social fundamentals; a caring nation, whose byword is
compassion, as reflected through universal health care, the alleviation of
poverty, access to education for all, and multicultural diversity.iA
nation other nations could look to, model, and respect.
But
monetary policy (monetarism link above) must
change and foreign ownership (free trade
link above)bids must be reasonably assessed. Even so, such reforms must be
couched within the context of a workable economic theory. Such a
theory is now within our grasp.

Efforts to alert activists to the importance of economics, economic theory, and the money-creation function- have failed. Talk about 'economics', money creation, the banks, the debt and deficit continue to be viewed as 'irrelevant', a conspiracy theory, or just talk by a bunch of off-key individuals and groups. And yet, the money-creation function is SO important that it preceeds the concerns of many activist causes! WHY? Because it answers the irreducible questions "Where do we get the money?" and "How do we fund the Public Sector?" If even activists cannot grasp the critical importance of this issue, then, indeed, where to begin? |
Until the general population comes to understand the importance of a workable economic theory and the money-creation function, the citizens of nation-states (not only Canada) will remain primarily debt slaves. Under present circumstances, we shall be in harness in perpetuity- unless things change. Is this the kind of world we want?
As mentioned earlier, it is likely that Canadian public opinion will continue to be carefully shaped and conditioned by centralized media control (Orwell had it right on!) to accept the notion that 'Canadians are no different from Americans'. From that point on it is only a matter of time before The Dream of Canada dissolves.
ON THE OTHER HAND, should a workable economic theory be developed in conjunction with a shift from the privatization of our money supply to its creation as a public right (It's OUR money!), a social revolution may well be the result... nnnnnNext: Links...

Will it solve all our problems? Of course not!
