The 2004 Federal Election

It is very very sad to have to say that our new government may continue on with the destruction of The Dream of Canada merely by abiding by policies they already have in use:

The continued misuse of the Bank of Canada, such that social programs cannot be adequatey funded, employment remains low, and Canadians in general are 'starved' for money.
Extension of the economic damage caused by the free trade agreements- through FTAA: the loss of even more Canadian companies to foreign ownership. (Let's call your house Canada House. It's as if you sold off components of your house- furnishings, rooms, resources-bit by bit- for a pittance. In the end, what will you have left?)
Involve Canada in the American National Missle Defence (NMD) system. This may well cost Canadians billions of dollars; and severely damage our sense of Canadian identity as a peace-loving, tolerant people.

There has been little debate or information available about this isue. Click here for info about the video "FULL SPECTRUM SUBMISSION: The Disgrace of Canadian Complicity in the Weaponization of Space".

Weakening (not strengthening) the powers of the federal government by allocating such powers to the provinces. Continuing the practice of fighting with the provinces over expenditures: how much and who has control. This will foster conflicts, intensify regionalism and highten calls for separation.
Ignoring (or denying) the effect of centralized media control over access to information for Canadians.
Continuing to condition Canadians that, really, there's "no real differences" between Canada and the U.S.* So what's the fuss? All sense of history gone. Continuing along the road to the end of The Dream of Canada...
